Feel free to leave comments of love and encouragement for Houston and the whole Leaton family. We hope this blog provides a great way for Houston to connect to us and for us to send a whole lot of love and prayer his way.

Dear Houston, We are lifting you and all of your family up in prayer. May you feel God's arms surround you with His strength and peace. Laurie and Brian Waters
We have never met, but I have been praying for you. May the Lord give you strength and courage in your fight. May the healing touch of Jesus sustain you and give you peace. And may the abiding presence of our God surround you. There are many who love you and are standing with you in faith.
Dear Houston, We are praying for peace for you and your family. From what we have heard about you, you are one amazing young man. You are inspiring to so many people. We will stand in the gap for you and your family and may you feel God's presence every moment. God Bless~~
You don't know us but we know your uncle Fred. We are praying for you and your family -- that the Lord will wrap you tightly in his healing arms. Uncle Terry has told us what an amazing person you are. I pray the Lord continues to give you strength and hope in Him.
Houston, I got to finally meet you at your grandmother's funeral. You were an inspiration to me then as you are now. Please know that my husband Bob and I are on our knees for God's will to be done. We pray that His will will align with Our will and that there will be healing in your near future. Love to you and your whole family. Dixie (Jared's Aunt and Uncle Bob.)
Wow. First you got the Principal's elevator key, then he made you honorary Principal. Now if you can get his paycheck you are set! You are on our minds and hearts all the time and we are continually lifting you up to the Lord. You are a man among boys(and I'm talking 50 year old boys.) With you in spirit. Terry Waters
We once spent lots of time with your uncle Fred when he lived in KC and have always loved the Leaton family. People who really love YOU have spread the word and you can be certain we are praying for you, too. You are surrounded with prayer on all sides, Houston, and we trust the Lord to supply you and your family with all you need.
Hi Houston, I'm a good friend of your Uncle Fred's. He has kept us continually updated and I know he loves you very much. Our thoughts and prayers have been with you for a long time and will continue to be. You are one tough dude. I only wish the Chief's and Cowboys had your toughness - what a bunch of wusses. Sorry, a little off track there. There are more people standing with you, thinking about you, and praying for you, your dad and brother than you can imagine. Hans Schleimer
My dearest Houston, tho we haven't met personally, I feel I have known you as I have followed your horrific battle you have so valiantly fought for a long time. Your Uncle Fred is like my brother, and your Aunt Rose used to babysit MY daughter so my heart aches for all of you. Know that we have been lifting you in prayer for a long time and will continue to do so-we serve a Mighty, Merciful, Loving Abba Father, tho we don't understand all His Ways. One thing I know I TRUST Him and know He is Sovereign. I pray you will feel His Presence and His Peace and His Mercy will flood your soul. I love you and continue to battle with you-and will eventually see you on the other side-Hallelujah! In Christ's great Love, Marylyn (Terry's sis)
Hi Houston, My name is Dan Burke and I'm Jared Water's brother-in-law. Terry has been gathering prayer warriors for you and I have been included in some of those emails. I wanted to let you know that I've been praying for you. I've heard what a warrior of God you are and could only wish for your strength. I just felt led to tell you that, where we don't know each other, we are still Brothers in Christ...I've been praying for the right words to say (or type) and what comes to mind right now is this: when He is for us, who can be against us. Dan
Houston and family: We're praying that you know "new mercies every morning" and you can rest, believing the Lord is in control. We are thinking of you!
Houston I am not really sure how I came upon this site but I want you to know it has been nothing but a pleasure meeting you and your father and having the honor of taking care of you. I am praying for you, your family, and all those near you.
